machines

The classic among hobby machines.
A simple lathe can be upgraded to a fully functional CNC machine with just 2 stepper motors.
An effort that will quickly pay off.

A laser is a very powerful tool.
It can be used for cutting, engraving, and drilling.
Please observe the safety regulations!

There are many different types of milling machines. From simple 3-axis gantry milling machines to machines with a so-called 4th axis (rotary axis) to 5-axis milling machines for more complex tasks.

A tool for cutting foil, paper, thin cardboard, etc.
In the simple (passive) version, the offset of the knife to the pivot point is taken into account in the calculation of the G-code.
In the active version (tangential knife), the knife is aligned precisely to the cutting direction by its own motor.

Simple versions can be built from 3D printed parts, servos or stepper motors.
One interesting variation uses the arm as a tool carrier, for example to paint objects with a brush.

My current main construction project.
Since I have no model-making experience myself, suggestions and ideas are welcome. :)

Grinding machines are frequently used after turning or milling processes for final machining. Their use ensures high surface quality, precise dimensions, and improved functionality of the components.

Measuring machines are used, for example, in the metal industry to check the dimensional accuracy, shape, and surface quality of workpieces. They are primarily used in quality assurance to ensure that components conform to technical drawings and tolerances.

Small machines for special applications.
They don't necessarily have to be in the workshop,
They also work on a desk.
